“ Just as good as the original location. Vegan rendang was interesting to try but wouldn’t get again. ”
“ Their newest branch is on a tiny lane, smallish in size, easy to get a table during weekday lunch - service and food is amazingly good. Had the roti with beef rendang, good chunks of meat in that rich creamy sauce. Although beef rendang here is different to the typical Malaysian rendang, which is drier and full of kerisik or desiccated coconut and much darker and caramelised sauce. Also had the ayam goreng berempah as a side dish, tasty and flavourful fried chicken with that yummy sambal dipping sauce. Overall superb food but I do quite like the addition of dhal curry sauce as an extra side, wish they would give a little of this as default, because you do need a bit of watery sauce to dip your roti in. Great staff, friendly service. Would go again for that once in a while Malaysian food treat. ”
“ Delicious warm tasty food. Everything was so well made, the bread super soft and light. I absolutely love it and I want to return here. Staff was friendly, food was served quite fast which was perfect since we were starving when we arrived there. Price is okay. ”
“ Ignore the negative and low reviews. The place is a little "cosy" but the staff were EXCELLENT, we sat right in front of the chefs on the main floor (team of three). Food - Awesome Eat the Rotis, takes me back to my childhood. We were a party of four and ordered many dishes. This place came as a recommendation from a neighbour. DO NOT MISS OUT. ”
“ Had a fabulous dinner here a few times now, so thought I’d write a review. Really helpful team here so if you have questions, do ask for suggestions. Food is great and it’s a laid back environment so not stuffy. I’d recommend most things, but be sure to try one of their signature Roti dishes. I’d like to thank Diyanah and Mohamed for being so welcoming and friendly. I’ve been here four times in the last month alone... says it all. ”
“ Comfort food for our Saturday lunch after the lure of trying the latest Roti King branch at Spitalfields. Obviously we had to have the freshly made roti canai. We opted for the one with mutton curry. Roti was excellent and flaky, curry was very good too though our very small complaint would be that the mutton was not as tender as we typically expect. Then we had the mee goreng mamak and nasi lemak. Mee goreng was spot on - with "wok hei" and lots of flavour toppings. Nasi lemak was probably the weakest of the three but still decent and pretty standard. The sambal could have had a bit more body to it but rice was reasonably fragrant. We finished off with the roti kaya (coconut jam) and obviously, what could possibly go wrong with this All in all, we thought this was a significantly better experience than the one we had at the Euston branch - so this might well be our go-to place in future! Easily matching Gopal's corner but sadly no banana leaf rice. ”
“ I just had the roti mutton canai and the chai. The curry was really authentic and delicious and the rotis were great. The chai was delicious too. Reasonably priced and great service. Only slight negative is that it's quite cramped inside but I guess some would say it's cosy. Highly recommend. ”
“ Very tasty, the prawns where spectacular! Everything feels fresh, we ordered Roti chicken and also the riceeee with prawnsss, chicken and species. TASTYY would repeat! Domenica was very nice too! She gave us tips to order since it was our first visit ”
